The Humane Space is building an app for the actively curious—a daily practice that combines lifelong learning and introspection. They curate thoughtful daily prompts and experiences that feed curiosity and widen perspective, encouraging daily reflection of the worlds beyond and within.
”We’ve built a space for daily practice of deep thinking and lifelong learning—without a classroom, without the need for tests, without the pressure to memorize—simply for the joy of exploring something new,” shares CEO Lauren Henkin.
In the Space, absorbable, curated prompts and experiences unfold in multi-sensory formats that arouse the imagination—sparking curiosity, flexing the mind, and empowering you to get outside of yourself and consider the world beyond. US News recently has an article featuring The Humane Space and highlighting the importance of curiosity for employee engagement.
The Humane Space is based in Rockland, Maine, and Lauren Henkin started the company in 2021. MVF led the round with participation from Copper Wire Ventures, a VC focused on investing in women-led tech companies. This pre-seed investment round will allow the company to further product development and enable their [beta] product launch.
