Maine Venture Fund welcomes Integrated Reality Labs
Maine Venture Fund is proud to welcome Integrated Reality Labs ("IRL") to our portfolio. IRL is a startup bringing multiplayer videogames into the real world with its next- generation spatial
technology. IRL games have already attracted 150,000+ active users through a beta version and the company plans to launch more widely in the coming months.
Two of the company’s 5 founders live in Maine, including CEO Lauren Steidl and COO Ian Andolsek. Lauren and Ian participated in the Roux Institute Founder Residency in 2024 and have raised capital from notable investors including Dorm Room Fund, Bruce Hack (former CEO of Activision Blizzard, which at one point was the world’s largest video game publisher), New York Angels, Princeton Alumni Angels, StageNext Fund and Robin Hood Ventures.
This fundraise will help IRL to expand product development and ramp up marketing efforts through the impending launch period for their first game, SLAP.
You can read more about the company here.
Welcome to the Maine Venture Fund portfolio, Integrated Reality Labs team! We look forward to supporting your journey.
