Co-Investor Spotlight: York IE

Co-investor York IE is an advisory and venture capital firm focused on aligned acceleration. They have made a few investments in Maine and are growing their advisory business to help companies, both in and out of their portfolio, scale efficiently. This month, CEO and Co-Founder Kyle York is sharing an update about their advisory services:

My York IE co-founders and I learned a lot on our journey as startup operators, as we helped scale our company in Manchester, New Hampshire’s called Dyn to a successful acquisition by Oracle in 2016.

In 2019, we applied our learnings from the journey with Dyn to start a new company. York IE has a mission to reshape the way tech companies are built, scaled and monetized. Today, we offer Advisory as a Service to early- and growth-stage businesses in the areas of product, go-to-market and finance.

Our Product Strategy and Development services present a unique opportunity to build software products — SaaS platforms, mobile apps and more — using well managed offshore teams tthat produce high quality work at a fraction of the cost and time of building a domestic team from the ground up.

Unlike many outsourced development shops, York IE focuses on strategy just as much as development. Senior-level product strategists based in Manchester oversee all of our engagements and serve as your key points of contact. Most of our team is in our Ahmedabad, India office, where we have more than 100 full-time employees who are all fluent in English.

We don’t hire short-term help or simply assign tasks to our India team. They join our calls, participate in our Slack channels and are fully invested in the success of our clients.

By combining strategic advisory with world-class developers, we’re able to help our clients with everything from roadmap strategy and backlog management to user experience design and cloud architecture.
