Kit NA is Maine's first non-alcoholic craft brewery offering premium NA beer made with the highest quality ingredients. Kit NA was founded in 2021 by Rob Barrett of Barrett Made, The Public Works and KCMF and Will Fisher of Austin Street Brewery.
In 2019, Barrett decided to give up alcohol and he quickly realized that non-alcoholic craft beer options were lacking. So, when Barrett met Austin Street Brewery co-founder Will Fisher, the two decided to launch Maine’s first exclusively non-alcoholic brewery.
Will Fisher remembers that first meeting well: “When we met, one of our first discussions was around alcohol consumption and the non-alcoholic beer market. Rob had cut alcohol from his routine and I had cut back significantly. It didn’t take long for our entrepreneurial gears to start turning!”
Kit NA Brewing launched in 2021, and after six months of development the brewery’s flagship American Blonde was born. “On Your Mark” is the embodiment of Kit’s commitment to making true craft beer without the alcohol. Since then they have launched two additional beers: “Get Set” an IPA, and “Here We GO” a Hazy IPA.
Kit NA is based in Portland, Maine and its seed investment round will allow the company to further product development and implement sales and marketing strategies to accelerate growth in New England and beyond.
