Maine Venture Fund will be holding the third annual Maine Startup Challenge in November 2024
Maine Startup Challenge (MSC) is a business plan competition with four age tiers (K-8, High School, College, and Open) to encourage entrepreneurial thinking in Maine. MSC is a program that grew out of MVF’s mission to drive economic growth and spur organic entrepreneurial activity in the state.
Over the past two years, MSC has reviewed 150 business plans and awarded $31k in prizes across the four tiers – you can read more about MSC 2023 and MSC 2022.
We are excited to announce that Maine Technology Institute (MTI) and the University of Maine System’s new Graduate and Professional Center, known as “The Maine Center”, are the Presenting Sponsors this year. The Showcase Event will be held at The Maine Center in Portland on Wednesday, November 13th.
The application window for this year’s Maine Startup Challenge will be Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 25.
